Outreach at St. Simon’s

We have an active Ministry Committee at St. Simon’s to support outreach programs in our communities as well as to support programs and events “in house” that allow us to continue to be the hands of Christ in our communities.

Blessing Bag Ministry
St Simon’s formed and continues to support the Blessing Bag Ministry in Okaloosa County School District’s Title I Program by providing over eight hundred personal hygiene kits to hundreds of students and families who are struggling with basic needs.

Elliott Point Elementary
We partner with Elliott Point to support teachers and students throughout the year. From Blessing of the School at the beginning of the year, teacher appreciation events, Hoodie and sock drives, school supplies, and much more.

Sharing and Caring of Okaloosa
Quarterly food drives to support Sharing and Caring’s food pantry are another way we reach beyond our doors to support our community.

We annually support the Children in Crisis Angel Tree Christmas gift program as well as the Northwest Florida Guardian Ad Litem Christmas drive for children in the foster care system.
